Low-resistance measurement instruments
Compare instruments against the defined measurement method and asset configuration.
What to compare
- Measurement range, resolution, and stated accuracy
- Required test-current capability for the approved method
- Lead arrangement and accessory compatibility
- Handling of inductive loads where applicable
- Traceable reports and calibration support
Application boundary
Contact and winding measurements have different requirements. Do not infer that one instrument or test method covers both.
Before purchasing
Confirm the approved test method, instrument ratings, compatible leads, calibration support, and operator training. Use current manufacturer documentation. Specialist systems may require a manufacturer or specialist supplier rather than a general marketplace.
