Insulation measurement instruments
Choose equipment only after the approved test method and equipment scope are known.
What to compare
- Supported methods and available test ranges
- Manufacturer-stated compatibility with the asset and connected components
- Reporting of test duration and environmental conditions
- Discharge features and the approved safe-work procedure
- Calibration, leads, accessories, and data export
Application boundary
An insulation tester does not replace a voltage detector or establish overall equipment health. Cable diagnostics and specialized transformer tests may require other instruments.
Before purchasing
Confirm the approved test method, instrument ratings, compatible leads, calibration support, and operator training. Use current manufacturer documentation. Specialist systems may require a manufacturer or specialist supplier rather than a general marketplace.
