Start from the installed topology
Eaton identifies multiple UPS service components, including batteries, capacitors and fans. Our draft therefore records charger/inverter service evidence, bypass arrangement, cooling condition and protection records. Different UPS topologies and models need different tasks.
Retain component history
Record exact replacement part identity, service date and the manufacturer document used. A capacitor or fan observation does not establish remaining life. Do not transfer a replacement interval from another model.
Record operating context
Keep load, operating mode, alarms and separately authorized restoration evidence with the original service report. This checklist records work already approved; it does not prescribe a transfer or expose internal components.
