Identify the whole assembly
Temporary protective grounding is an application involving the complete assembly, not just a cable marked for an equipment voltage class. Keep cable, ferrule and clamp identification together with the manufacturer assembly documentation.
Define the application before purchase
Our selection record asks for the approved grounding plan, available fault current and duration, conductor configuration and clamp interfaces. Those fields require installation-specific review; this note supplies no ratings or installation method.
Keep different purposes separate
A bonding reel used for static control is not automatically a fault-rated protective grounding assembly. Record the intended function explicitly so that a broad search result cannot be mistaken for suitability approval.
