About us
elecmaint is an independent electrical maintenance resource for engineers and maintenance professionals. We are developing equipment-focused research notes, startup and maintenance checklists, and test equipment guides to support informed preparation and documentation.
Our approach is to connect observations and maintenance tasks with clearly identified sources and their applicable context. The current library provides independently authored preparation and documentation templates, instrument selection frameworks, and editorial notes. These materials await qualified technical review and do not provide complete field procedures or numerical acceptance limits.

Sources, measurements, and checklist scope
Checklist items may be incomplete or inapplicable to a particular equipment type, model, installation, or work scope. An omitted task is not evidence that the task is unnecessary. Research findings, typical values, and diagnostic observations are not automatically acceptance criteria. Numerical values depend on the equipment and test conditions, including method, temperature, duration, and applied voltage. Refer to the original source and obtain qualified review before using a value to make a field decision.

We aim to provide useful information, but content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information and may change without notice. Editorial and technical review policy
Checklists are independently authored recording prompts. Source links explain research context and retain their own equipment and installation scope. They are not evidence of complete NETA, NFPA or OEM coverage. Startup records emphasize installation/configuration evidence; maintenance records emphasize observations, baseline changes and service history.
Current forms and research notes remain drafts awaiting qualified technical approval. We do not claim a published credentialed reviewer, accreditation or manufacturer endorsement. Reviewed source facts, individual product capabilities and suitability for a work scope are separate decisions.
Corrections should identify the page, equipment/model, source document and location. Template versions preserve changes; saved older inspection records are not silently migrated into changed forms. A product source that changes must be rechecked before its facts can support comparison. Affiliate commission does not approve an instrument or determine its capability.

Checklist entries are processed in your browser. When you select “Save on this device,” the record is stored in this browser’s local storage and remains until you clear it or remove this site’s browser data. Entries are not sent to an elecmaint database. Multiple versioned inspections can be saved in this browser. Compatible current-version JSON can be imported as a new draft; older versions stay separate. Export for backup; browser storage is not a cloud system of record. Exported files are saved to your device. Do not enter confidential facility information or personal information on a shared device.
This version has no account registration or contact form. This site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects page-view, device, approximate location and interaction information under Google’s privacy policy. Cloudflare hosts the site and may also process page-view and request information, depending on the hosting configuration. This application does not send checklist entries or locally saved records to analytics. Hosting providers may process IP addresses and access logs under their own policies. Google AdSense shows advertising on reference pages; checklist forms and printed reports carry no ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on those visits.
